Sahar Mehrabi

As a graduate of Architecture at Webber Architects, I work closely with project leaders to bring our projects to life, developing both creative and technical elements. My role includes preparing architectural and construction drawings, producing detailed documentation, and creating models for clients and consultants, ensuring each stage of the project aligns with our vision and commitment to quality.

Career Journey: My architectural career began at a small firm in Auckland, New Zealand, where I specialised in refurbishing heritage buildings. Working with these historic structures deepened my appreciation for preservation and gave me a solid foundation in architectural design. This experience continues to shape my approach as I work on projects that blend respect for tradition with modern design innovation.

Passion & Achievements: The most rewarding part of my job is transforming spaces, blending aesthetic beauty with practical functionality. Knowing that my work enhances the daily experiences of those who inhabit or interact with these spaces is deeply fulfilling. Over the course of my career, I’ve had the chance to work on a variety of projects, from hotels and restaurants to schools. A particularly meaningful project was my contribution to the design of a fire station—an essential community space that carries a unique significance.

Interests & Hobbies: Outside of architecture, I have a passion for fashion, art, and philosophy, and I enjoy exploring different art forms and spending quality time with family and friends. I also have a keen interest in architectural photography, capturing the essence of urban landscapes and iconic structures, which allows me to appreciate architecture from a fresh perspective.

Future Goals: Looking ahead, I’m keen to expand my knowledge in project management. I view this as a natural progression, one that will allow me to take on more leadership roles and contribute more strategically to the success of future projects. My goal is to continue growing in the field, guiding projects from concept to completion with a strong, collaborative team.
