Marcelina Kopczak

Interior Designer

Qualifications

Bachelor of Architecture

As an Interior Designer, my role involves assisting architects in space planning and communication with clients regarding interior design aspects across residential, educational, and commercial projects.

Career Journey: I studied Architecture in Rome, earning a Bachelor’s degree, and furthered my education with a Bachelor’s degree in construction project management. I also completed courses in Lighting Design and Interior Design in Rome. With this background, I worked as a Junior Architect and Interior Designer in Rome before transitioning to Australia, where I’ve accumulated 5 years of experience in interiors and building design, both independently and with prominent firms across NSW.

Passion and Achievements: Interior Design allows me to express creativity daily, crafting spaces that blend personality, style, and functionality. I find satisfaction in solving complex design challenges, optimizing space, enhancing functionality, and meeting client expectations within budget constraints. My proudest achievement has been attracting clients through referrals and positive word-of-mouth, a testament to my design expertise and client satisfaction.

Personal Interests and Hobbies: Outside of work, I indulge in reading books, spending time at the beach, sailing, cooking, and enjoying fine wine.

Future Goals: Looking ahead, I am eager to elevate the importance of the interior design division within our company. I envision positioning myself alongside Kristine and Jess as leaders in this field, making our practice a sought-after destination for interior design services in Newcastle.
