Luca Gwynne

Career Journey: I graduated from high school in 2018 and enrolled in the Bachelor of Design program at the University of Newcastle in 2022. By the end of my second year, I secured a summer placement at Webber Architects, which evolved into part-time employment while continuing my studies.

Passion & Achievements: I’m fascinated by the blend of creativity and logic inherent in architecture. Each project presents unique challenges that continuously push me to grow. Although I’ve only been at Webber part-time, I’ve been immersed in various projects, learning and refining my skills.

Personal Interests and Hobbies: Outside of architecture, I thrive in the outdoors—hiking, camping, and four-wheel driving are among my favorite activities. I also cherish quiet moments with a good book and enjoy spending time with my dog.

Future Goals: After completing my degree later this year, my goal is to work full-time at Webber Architects for a year before pursuing a Masters degree. I aim to expand my expertise in coordinating with consultants and managing projects from inception to completion.
