Jessica Mason

As an interior designer at Webber Architects, I am responsible for all aspects of internal design, from selecting finishes and fixtures to creating thoughtful internal layouts. My role involves collaborating closely with the architecture team to ensure that every space not only meets aesthetic and functional requirements but also enhances the overall user experience. I thrive on the challenge of transforming concepts into beautiful, cohesive interiors that reflect the unique vision of each project, ultimately creating environments that inspire and elevate everyday living.

Career Journey: I completed my Bachelor of Interior Architecture with Honors at the University of New South Wales and, after years of experience in smaller interior and architecture studios in Sydney, i joined Webber Architects around twelve months ago. My previous roles my work was focused  across high-end residential, hospitality, and commercial sectors both domestically and internationally. Now at Webber Architects, I focus on all internal design aspects, from finishes and fixtures to internal layouts, where I’m able to apply my experience to create well-crafted, functional, and visually impactful interiors.

Passion & Achievements: I love that interior design is a collaborative, creative field that allows me to be hands-on throughout the entire process. Some of my career highlights include working on projects featured in some of my favorite design magazines and watching these designs come to life. I especially enjoy seeing the tangible results, such as visiting bars I helped design and sharing those spaces with friends. These experiences continue to inspire me to create memorable spaces that blend beauty with function.

Interests and Hobbies: Outside of work, I have a passion for furniture making, a creative craft that helps me connect with materials in a different way. I also love to travel, living abroad really expanded my perspective on design. My hobbies range from ceramics to hiking, and I enjoy time at the beach whenever possible. These activities help me stay inspired and recharged, bringing fresh ideas into my work.

Future Goals: At Webber Architects, I aim to help expand the interiors team and contribute to the creation of beautiful, well-curated spaces. I’m excited to grow with the team, explore new design possibilities, and enhance our interiors portfolio by delivering meaningful, timeless designs that elevate everyday spaces.
