Qualifications

Bachelor of Architecture
Bachelor of Science (Architecture – Hons)

As a Graduate Architect, I assist in the creation of design concepts, developing architectural drawings and models using Revit, prepare technical drawings and construction documents, and ensure coordination of documents between consultants.

Career Journey: I began my architectural journey with an internship at a multidisciplinary international firm in Malaysia, which sparked my passion for architecture. Following this, I honed my skills in a smaller firm for two years, focusing on hands-on experience before pursuing my Masters in Architecture at the University of Newcastle amidst the challenges of COVID-19. This period reaffirmed my commitment to the Australian architecture scene. Joining Webber Architects was a natural step, starting in the interiors team and later transitioning to the architectural team, where I continue to learn and grow.

Passion and Achievements: What drives me most is the ability to contribute to projects that positively impact communities. I’ve had the privilege of volunteering on projects in Malaysia and Newcastle, delivering functional and quality spaces that enhance people’s lives. At Webber Architects, I’ve been involved in significant projects, where I’ve learned invaluable lessons in project management and design implementation.

Personal Interests and Hobbies: Outside of work, I am an avid adventurer. I thrive on solo travel experiences, enjoying the thrill of exploring new places and cultures. Camping is another passion of mine—I find solace in nature whenever I get the chance. My pursuit of adrenaline includes activities like skydiving, and I’m currently training to conquer Malaysia’s highest mountain. I also have a long-awaited goal to obtain my scuba diving license, a dream since I turned 18.

Future Goals: Looking ahead, my primary goal is to become a registered architect within the next two years. The contract administration sessions at Webber Architects are pivotal in achieving this milestone, providing essential skills and knowledge. Beyond professional accomplishments, I aim to leverage my architectural skills for meaningful volunteer work with non-profit organisations, contributing to societal well-being through design and community engagement.
